Diversity Initiative
Wolff & Samson’s Diversity Initiative serves to support and encourage the professional development and advancement of our minority attorneys. Similarly, as part of our commitment to diversity, Wolff & Samson recruits qualified minority laterals to join our distinguished professionals. Our attorneys are encouraged to become involved in various national, state and local professional associations. Recently, one of our attorneys was elected to the position of Treasurer for the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Rights Section. Another attorney co-chairs committees for the Asian-Pacific American Lawyers Association. Further, we are proud that one hundred percent of our women attorneys and paraprofessionals belong to the New Jersey Women Lawyer’s Association.
Wolff & Samson is a member of the New Jersey Law Firm Group, an organization committed to the advancement of minority placement in the New Jersey legal community, and the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, an organization dedicated to the recruitment, retention and promotion of minority attorneys in law firms and corporations. We also participate in numerous minority job fairs, including the Philadelphia Area Minority Job Fair, the 6 in 1 Law Placement Program and the New Jersey Law Firm Group Job Fair. We actively support student diversity outreach programs, including the Rutgers Black Law Student Association, the Seton Hall Black Law Student Association and the Fordham Black Law Student Association.
Members of the Wolff & Samson Diversity Initiative, along with colleagues from our Women’s Initiative, are also active in community outreach sponsorship, including spearheading firm-wide fundraisers for numerous local organizations.
