Aaron Bassan is a counsel in Wolff & Samson’s Corporate and Securities Group. His extensive experience includes a broad range of transactional work, including project finance, mergers and acquisitions, and finance, as well as general corporate and securities counseling. In mergers and acquisitions, Aaron represents buyers and sellers, ranging from large Fortune 500 companies to small and medium size family-held business.
Aaron played an integral role in a number of complex acquisitions, including:
- Representing a publicly held New Jersey based manufacturer of high performance systems for the semiconductor industry in acquiring a West Coast-based semiconductor equipment manufacturer for $75 million
- Representing a privately held third-party logistics provider in the sale of its business to a private equity group for $40 million
- Representing the owner of a Newark, N.J., shopping center in a $27 million sale to a New York Stock Exchange-listed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT)
- Representing a startup retirement services company in connection with its acquisitions of similar companies, as well as the sale of a controlling interest to a private equity group for a $40 million investment/funding commitment
