Gage Andretta is an accomplished Wolff & Samson litigator with more than 30 years of experience in commercial litigation, condemnation, real estate litigation and land use litigation.

His experience in complex litigation includes the insolvency of a major New Jersey HMO and the derivative litigation resulting from it. He is experienced in handling a variety of condemnation matters, including representation of redevelopment entities, private redevelopers and municipalities exercising the power of eminent domain, and businesses subject to condemnation proceedings. Municipalities and private property owners also seek Gage’s counsel in a variety of zoning challenges.

Gage served on the Essex County District V-C Ethics Committee and was its Chairman from 1995-1996. He is listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business in the area of Litigation, and in The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Real Estate Litigation.  He was also selected for inclusion in New Jersey Super Lawyers, and he has an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Prior to joining Wolff & Samson, Gage was an assistant prosecutor in Essex County, N.J., from 1979 to 1981. He graduated with honors from Rutgers University School of Law. While at Rutgers, he was the co-editor in chief of the Rutgers Law Review. He also served as law secretary to the Honorable Anthony T. Augelli, U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey.
