John Casey practices primarily in the areas of litigation, construction, public contract law and real property tax appeals at Wolff & Samson. He represents municipalities, toll authorities, construction firms and developers in a variety of matters that encompass prevailing wage compliance and litigation, contract procurement, employment issues and construction litigation.

John’s experience also includes the defense and prosecution of real property tax appeals and issues related to tax exemption for properties ranging from commercial and industrial buildings to casinos and special purpose infrastructure facilities.

John is a magna cum laude graduate of the New England School of Law, where he served as the coordinating editor of the New England Law Review. He received the American Jurisprudence Award in Torts and authored “Plyler v. Doe, The Quasi Fundamental Right Emerges in Equal Protection Analysis,” published in the New England Law Review. After graduation, John served as law clerk to Judge Melvin P. Antell, Appellate Division, New Jersey.
