Michael Gordon is a litigation attorney in the Financial Services Litigation and Investigations Group at Wolff & Samson. Michael represents clients throughout the country in complex commercial matters, particularly in the areas of securities litigation and arbitration, securities regulation and enforcement, broker/dealer compliance counseling and general commercial litigation. His securities litigation and arbitration practice includes defending broker-dealers in private arbitrations and court actions and representing clients responding to inquiries and investigations by securities regulators and government agencies, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority ("FINRA"), United States Department of Labor, and state authorities. Michael also performs internal investigations for broker-dealers and assists financial institutions in complex regulatory matters. His general commercial litigation practice involves the representation of business entities in various commercial disputes in federal and state courts.
Michael received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was a member of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal and also served as a teaching fellow during the 2007 - 2009 academic years. He earned his B.A. in Philosophy from Seton Hall University, graduating magna cum laude in 2006.
Michael served as an intern for the Honorable Katharine S. Hayden, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
