Rachel Santarlas practices in Wolff & Samson’s Intellectual Property and Litigation Groups. Her focus includes copyright and trademark counseling, trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance and enforcement, foreign trademark prosecution, trademark litigation before the federal courts, inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and Internet domain name disputes.

Rachel is also involved in the intellectual property and commercial aspects of corporate transactions with an emphasis on intellectual property due diligence. She also works on transactional matters in the areas of intellectual property licenses, assignments and settlement agreements.

In addition to securing, protecting and enforcing clients’ intellectual property rights, she counsels clients on other intellectual property related matters, including trademark counterfeiting and enforcement, reviewing media and web sites for compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and various intellectual property issues. Rachel is also a registered patent attorney and has experience in counseling clients with patent matters.

Rachel began her legal career as an intern with Tommy Hilfiger, U.S.A., Inc., where she gained experience in international trademark prosecution, anti-counterfeiting and enforcement. Prior to joining Wolff & Samson, Rachel worked at World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. in Stamford, Conn., and in the intellectual property practice of Stryker, Tams & Dill, LLP, in Newark, N.J.
