Scott Lichtenstein joined Wolff & Samson as an associate in 2010. Scott's litigation experience includes assisting clients with legal issues of many types and sizes - from helping a company quickly negotiate a $15,000 settlement for unpaid service invoices, to aggressively defending a surety against a performance bond claim upwards of $35 million dollars.
Scott earned his J.D. at Rutgers University School of Law – Newark, where he was managing editor of the Rutgers Race and the Law Review and received the Dean's Merit Scholarship for all three years of attendance. He received a B. A. in philosophy and political science from Rutgers University, where he graduated magna cum laude, earned departmental honors in philosophy, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
Prior to joining Wolff & Samson, Scott clerked for the Honorable Edith K. Payne, J.A.D. in the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. While attending law school, Scott was employed as a legal assistant at the Law Office of Joseph Carolan, a staff counsel office to CNA Insurance.
