Tricia Gasparine is a member in the Public Finance Group of Wolff & Samson. Prior to joining Wolff & Samson in June 2009, Tricia was a partner at McManimon & Scotland, L.L.C.

Tricia has more than 10 years of experience in all areas of public finance, focusing on complex structured transactions for the State of New Jersey and its agencies and authorities. During her time as a partner at McManimon & Scotland, Tricia was in charge of state-level transactions, participating in all such transactions and acting as the primary firm contact on many of these matters.

Tricia’s experience includes acting as bond counsel and underwriter’s counsel in transactions involving the State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority, the New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund Authority, the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, the New Jersey Educational Facilities Authority, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and myriad other government entities, including municipal and county-level issuers. She also represents trustees, credit enhancers, developers and derivative transaction counterparties in public finance transactions.

She assisted in drafting enabling legislation for major financing initiatives on behalf of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. Tricia also participated in more than $5 billion in notional amount of interest rate swaps as well as other derivative transactions.

Previously, Tricia was an associate with Wolff & Samson from 2000 until 2005. From September 1999 to August 2000, she served as law clerk for the Honorable Richard Newman, New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division.

Tricia graduated cum laude both from Villanova University in 1996 and from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1999. While at Seton Hall University School of Law, Tricia served as notes editor of the Seton Hall Law Review.

In 2009, 2010 and 2011, Tricia was named as a "Rising Star" in New Jersey Super Lawyers. In 2011, she was named by NJBIZ as one of New Jersey’s “Forty Under 40” award winners.
