Stephen L. Ferszt Elected To Prestigious Trust And Estate Counsel

Wolff & Samson PC member Stephen L. Ferszt was elected a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

ACTEC is a national professional organization of more than 2,600 lawyers and law professors who are elected by their peers in recognition of having made outstanding contributions to the field of trust and estate law.

ACTEC members are elected to the College by demonstrating the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors. Prospective Fellows are nominated by members in their geographic area and are evaluated on the basis of professional reputation, ability and contributions to the field through lecturing, writing, teaching and bar activities.

Ferszt practices in the areas of estate planning and administration, ERISA and employee benefits, and taxation. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Tax Section, and a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Tax Section, of which he is the immediate past Chair. He is also a member of the Internal Revenue Service's Northeast Pension Liaison Group. Ferszt received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
