Wolff & Samson Member Ronald Israel Named to New Jersey Law Journal "40 Under 40"August 9, 2010 New Jersey Law Journal Wolff & Samson is proud to announce that member Ronald L. Israel has been named by the New Jersey Law Journal to the 2010 “40 Under 40” listing of the state’s leading young attorneys. Israel, who practices in the firm's Litigation Group, joined Wolff & Samson in 2005. He focuses on complex commercial litigation, intellectual property and entertainment law. As noted by the Law Journal, Israel has successfully handled litigation involving a broad range of matters, “including partnership disputes, minority oppression and shareholder derivative actions, trademark and copyright infringement claims, and restrictive covenant, discrimination and bonus cases.” In connection with his entertainment-related work, Israel has litigated numerous bootleg and counterfeit goods cases, including obtaining nationwide injunctions against bootleggers of music group merchandise. Israel was also recognized for his leadership roles at the firm, including his participation on the Conflicts and General Counsel Committees. Israel received his JD from Columbia University School of Law, where he was the submissions editor for Columbia Human Rights Law Review and a Harlan Fiske Stone Moot Court semi-finalist.
