Pearlson Joins Wolff & Samson as Co-Chair of Litigation Group

Wolff & Samson PC is pleased to announce that A. Ross Pearlson, formerly a partner at Sills Cummis & Gross P.C., has joined the firm as a Member and will serve as Co-Chair of Wolff & Samson’s Litigation Group.
An accomplished litigator, Mr. Pearlson has 25 years of experience in civil and criminal investigations and prosecutions. He served from 1990 to 1994 as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of New York, prosecuting federal felony cases involving mail, wire and securities fraud, RICO violations and other high-profile issues. His success in this role earned him the Director’s Award from Attorney General Janet Reno for Sustained Superior Performance as an Assistant United States Attorney. He subsequently practiced at Sills Cummis & Gross for 17 years, where he was a member of the corporate internal investigations, white collar crime and litigation groups.
As Co-Chair of Wolff & Samson’s Litigation Group, which is listed in both Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business and U.S. News/Best Lawyers’ "Best Law Firms" rankings, Mr. Pearlson will work to grow and support one of the most highly regarded litigation practices in New Jersey.

Mr. Pearlson’s experience covers a wide range of white collar criminal cases and investigations, as well as complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on health care and securities matters. He has successfully represented corporations and individuals in criminal investigations brought by the United States Attorney’s Office, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Attorney General’s Offices for the States of New York and New Jersey. His clients range from major international conglomerates and domestic corporations to securities firms, broker-dealers, and health care businesses and providers. Mr. Pearlson has also been retained by several Fortune 500 companies to conduct internal investigations into allegations of misconduct.
Mr. Pearlson is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits.
He received his B.A., with high distinction, from Wesleyan University and his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
Mr. Pearlson will practice in Wolff & Samson’s Litigation, Corporate Internal Investigations and Monitoring, and White Collar Criminal Defense Groups.
