Rhatican Joins Wolff & Samson

Wolff & Samson is pleased to announce that James P. Rhatican has joined the firm as a Member in the Real Estate, Development and Land Use Group.
Rhatican joins Wolff & Samson from Connell Foley LLP, where he was a partner and active in the acquisition, financing, development and sale of commercial property locally and regionally. In addition to his wide-ranging transactional experience, Rhatican brings to the firm strong credentials in redevelopment, land use and related environmental and regulatory matters. His background includes appearing before municipal, county and state agencies regarding all aspects of land use, development and redevelopment, and negotiating redevelopment, PILOT and related agreements involved in the real estate development process. Rhatican also counsels clients regarding environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and the public and private financing of real estate projects.

Rhatican was listed as one of the New Jersey Law Journal’s “40 Under 40” for 2007. Additionally, he was named to Real Estate New Jersey Magazine’s 2007 “40 Under 40” list of real estate professionals. He has written several articles and lectured on a variety of real estate and related topics.
Rhatican received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark and his B.A. in Government and Public Policy from the University of Notre Dame. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
