We have represented the largest domestic manufacturer of components
for gasoline service station liquids handling, as well as a major
producer of home health products.
Wolff & Samson has also represented clients in the defense of toxic
tort personal injury cases. As such, we have been involved in large
multi-party actions arising from alleged occupational exposure to
toxins, as well as actions arising from alleged exposure to
environmental contaminants. We are currently involved in one of New
Jersey's statewide multi-party latex glove litigations, as well as
other toxic tort matters arising from the alleged exposure to
petrochemicals. We also represent clients in the defense of class
actions involving alleged exposures to chemicals and other hazardous
substances.
In addition to defending both product liability and toxic tort
actions, Wolff & Samson has also represented clients in cases
involving insurance coverage for a wide variety of claims, including
claims relating to environmental contamination and coverage for
property damage caused by environmental discharges.
Because of the complexity associated with product liability and toxic
tort claims, Wolff & Samson's product liability team regularly works
with attorneys in the firm's business law, litigation, bankruptcy,
banking, real estate and tax groups. Wolff & Samson has a
comprehensive law library, which includes both published and
unpublished decisions from throughout the country, as well as all
state and federal product liability rules, regulations and treatises.
Leading Wolff & Samson's product liability and toxic tort practice
is senior partner David Samson, Chairman of the firm's litigation
group. Another partner, John Simon, is responsible for the
day-to-day management of the firm's product liability and toxic tort
practice. David and John are assisted by other attorneys who have
extensive experience in all areas of the product liability and toxic
tort practice, including the handling of both complex, mass tort
claims and property damage claims.
